Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 small onion, diced
1/2 cup beef broth
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
4 slices provolone cheese
4 hamburger buns, toasted
Directions:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
Add the diced bell pepper and onion to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
In a small bowl, whisk together beef broth, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, cornstarch, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Pour the mixture into the skillet and stir to combine. Bring to a simmer and cook for another 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
Place a slice of provolone cheese on each bun half. Spoon the beef mixture onto the buns, allowing the cheese to melt.
ENJOY!
